Cascading Cupcakes!!

Hello again, what rotten weather we are having, I am hoping for sunnier climbs, Mmmm perhaps Barcalona will do the trick!! Today I have a fab card my fave I think of the allday event, It's the superb Double Cascading technqiue, Now I toured the net for all sorts of instructions, I could not get my head round them, and they were all using 12 x 12 cardstock , I wanted A4 size, and where better to look than Jenny moors blog, Jenny is great she does all the hard work for you, she is amazing!! If you wnat to make this card then pop over to Jenny and purchase the PDF instruction class she has made , simplistic instructions right down the to T! Again all these cards are using the sab papers we no longer have , but you can incorperate any papers, I have used the same cardstock and inks as the last two cards, I have used the beautiful Lace Ribbon border!! Now you only have 8 days left to purchase the Cupcake stamp set and matching Punch! So get it now if you want it!! You may well regret it ifyou don't....

When is a cupcake not a cupcake???

Why When its a handbag of course!!! I have seen loads of these type of designs on the net and loved them, so I thought at the allday event, I would share with the girls, and of course I had to bling them up, I hear my ladies groan when I use the rhinestones, I just love them and can't get enough of them and am very generous with them on my cards including my class cards, I hear the girls say oh I am not using that many there too lovely!! I have used the Boho Blossoms punch for the clasp, Cupcake builder punch for the bag, again I have used the Naturals Ivory cardstock, with Pool Party, sab papers, 1 3/4 circle punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, Modern Label, word window, Dotted Scallop ribbon border punch, and that fabulous ruffled ribbon!

Anyone for a cupcake!!

Since there is only TEN days left of our Spring mini here at Stampin up, I thought I would share a few creations we made at our allday event back in March using the Create a cupcake stamp set and matching Punch! The creations I am sharing today are a small card with a matching gift box, The layout for the card I cased from a swap I received from a fellow demo called Sarah Poulton, she made a gorgeous baby card using the Avairy set and I loved it!! The gift box was made using the Petal cone die! The papers are retired Sale a bration ones, Oh how I love those papers!! The colours I used were Poppy Parade (gosh gonna miss this one when it goes)lucky limeade, Natural Ivory. Now I must say that the Natural Ivory cardstock is superb, especially for Stamping and watercolouring, and such value for money, it's beautifully thick scores and creases beautifully, is great for vintage cards, and at £6.25 a pack of 40 A4 sheets worksout out at less than 16p a sheet, it's superb quality it really is!! I used the fabulous matching ruffled ribbon, Top note die,Decrorative label punch, Perfect Polka dot embossing folder, Word window punch.
If you would like to purchase The stamp set and matching punch you really only have 10 days left to do so, Don't forget I offer free shipping!! Spend £45 or more and receive a free pack of paper worth £9.95, A choice from four different designs!! So if you purchase, the clear Stamp set, matching punch, ruffled risson and pack of Naturals Ivory, all for £47.65 you qualify for the free pack of papers all delivered to your door postage free! Give me a shout if you wish to purchase any of these items or indeed any Stampin up items! Pop back tommorrow for more creations from the cupcake day!

SU have done it again with the most fabulous paper designs, great for male and female creations, The main image and sentiment are from LOTV, The flower image is one of the sneak peaks from SU and one of the sets I earned free, when I saw this image on fellow demos blogs from across the pond, I secretly wished it would fly its way over herer, Oh someone up there is taking notice of me sometimes, thankyou!!.. Again images are coloured using the marker pens with the blender pen for a softer watercoloured look, the beautiful scallopy embossed look is another exciting sneak peak. Oh yes and who could forget another colour in the ruffled ribbon selection....
Well I am off now to make my many swaps with my freebies, I will show you when they are finished... I love swapping it's one of the best bits about Stampin up, lots of creations made by other crafters to enjoy!!

A little cute with a splash of sneak peak!!

Today I have a little cute card to show you, which has a sneak peak of upcomming product from Stampin up. Todays card is coloured using SU marker pens with a stampin up blender pens, it gives the feel and look of water colour on smooth cardstock that you can't really douse with water a terrific alternative to watercolour pencils and brushes but giving the same effect!!

You get three Double ended pens for £7.95 and thats all you need for as many colours as you can handle, just squiggle the colour away ready for the next one!

I have use an LOTV stamp for the main image, having been one of their first card designers I do have a soft spot for them! I have used the ultra gorgeous Sale a bration papers Called Enchantment, unfortunately no longer available from SU.Teamed with very vanilla and calypso coral cardstock, Have you spied that sneak peak yet!! Yep you got it the beautiful ruffled ribbon placed upon the border punch. I love this card, It's made especially for my lovely friend Barbara, I just know she is going to love recreating it!!

A pillow to desire!

Wow nothing in months and then 3 in a go, I feel like a bus!

Today I am showing as promised , My swap that I made for our stampin stars training event... Also a fabulous gift package that was inspired by Jenni Pauli a French demo whose creations I adore, I received a fabulous swap from Jenni and fun bright colours abd cased this for my demo using the clearly for you seet and the matching colours of my cards, the label I cased and just used different colourways using the Four framwes set and the sentiments are from the Hello you set , the band I used the background stamp from the C4U set, and the pillow box was cut twice and joined together using the band to cover the join, isn't it fab!...

The swap card I used the left over for the card blank, run that through the bigshot using the Vintage wallpaper, LURVE this folder.... can ya tell...

I used the newsprint DSP spritz it and stamped the splurge design from the French Foliage set in the mini, a must have stamp in itself that one!, scrunched the paper up tore a bit off and adhered to the card blank, I also used the splurge stamp, not sure if its called that but thats what it reminds me off, on the circle, I inked it up stamped it off twice and then stamped the circle image, i love the effect, I matted the circle on the Decorative Label punch out which I cut in half attached using stick pads and then finished off with one of those ultra sparkily Stampin up Basic Rhinestone, why they are called that when they are anything but basic I will never know!

I kinda fell in love with this card and hope that my fellow demos did too!... I was norty as I ran out of time to finish them at home so I did all the componants at home and I put them together whilst Natalie did her business talk... tee hee!!

I hope you like them all as much as I do....

Monday, 18 July 2011

More Clearly for you......

Hello All, Back again as promised to show another card I made for demo at training, this time a small 4 x 4 square one and rather pretty I think, using the berries design... I stamped the berry stamp in Cherry Cobbler and went over the branches with the Basic Black Marker pen, Stamped Very Vanilla Three or four times without reinking to get a lighter effect on the background....

I stamped a piece of Very Vanilla in Black using the background stamp in this set, I love this one, I duabered around the egdes with Basic Black and splteered it to bits with the spritzer...

On the card blank I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, A lovely card which would you believe didnt take me that long to make!

Don't forget to pop back tommorrow for another installment of Clearly for you, showing a gift packaging and the Swap card I made....

Take care all....

Saturday, 16 July 2011

I always come back home inspired by all the swaps the girls have made and the projects that Natalie produces...
